Long first crank before starting

So bit of an update , fitted a new fuel pump , genuine fuel pressure regulator and a fuel filter cars alot better I would say about 95% not totally perfect every single time but definitely not cranking for as ages like before

A contacted the main importer for walbro and they said it could possibly be the pump burnt the primer port out but would need to send it to them to flow test and if they find a problem they would need to cut it open to investigate ,just haven't got round to sending it away yet

Put a walbro 255 back in tho a model 342 , had a 341 in previous , definitely quiter . A thought it had only been in a year turns out it had been in the car for 3 year sitting in low fuel tho hadn't done many miles then in the spray booth oven ,might be nothing to do with it but definitely starting alot better .it's metal how you loose time scale when restoring the car
